Thursday 13 v. 72 Thirteen Reasons I Don't Have a Real 13 List

Thirteen Reasons I Don't Have a Real 13 List

1. I've been working on items for my new book. It should release soon! If you'd like to participate in my virtual book tour, visit http://thelistbook.blogspot.com.

2. I've been volunteering for more responsibility at work. I know, what was I thinking, right?

3. I've been planning our trip to Las Vegas. Less than a month to go!

4. While in Vegas, we'll be driving one day to Death Valley. I've been researching that, too.

5. It got really cold. Cold weather makes me want to hibernate.

6. We bought a new iMac. I need to spend time playing with the new 'puter!

7. The house hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. Too long. Spiders were getting too comfy. So out came the Dyson, and Pooh Bear had to hide.

8. I have a ton of shows to watch on the DVR. I'm uninspired by fall TV, so it's taking me a bit longer than normal.

9. I've been trying to adjust to the new, way-too-expensive, memory foam pillow I bought. Funny, my neck still hurts. Stupid pillow.

10. I've been stressing about Thanksgiving. It's the first joint holiday venture with Jim and I. Of course, my parents love him more than they love me. ;) The next weekend is Christmas with his family in Delaware.

11. It's really cold in Delaware.

12. I've been trying to find a pair of comfortable, black boots. I've been through every Joseph Seibel on zappos.com, and now I'm trying all the Clarks. I hate buying shoes.

13. I've been cutting coupons. I am now the coupon queen, so we can save 25 cents on toilet paper and such.

I envy you your trip to Las Vegas.

Reading your list, though, has made me feel very cold! I'd like to hibernate too.

#2 has me confused. You did this on purpose?? Oh Carmen, Carmen, Carmen. We NEVER volunteer for more responsibility at work. Silly rabbit!

Congratulations on the book!!

I've been looking for boots to replace my old LLBEAN ones that they don't make anymore for 5 years!

Try a buckwheat hull pillow. It's heavenly to sleep on.

I am a huge coupon cutter too! I don't know why but it feels good to see that money come off while standing at the register!

That's very busy! DH is trying to get us another trip before he has to leave.

I want to hibernate, too. And it's been so long since I've vacuumed that I'm afraid of how many ecosystems I'd destroy if I did.

Great List! Happy TT!

LOL, Carmen! I think we all do a why-I'm-not-doing-a-TT thirteen eventually. :)

My daughter has one of those pillows and she loves it. Of course, she's only 23, so what does she know?

Good luck with Thanksgiving--try not to stress too much, and enjoy yourself!

My goodness Carmen! This must be one serious relationship that's going on! Your parents adore him (but do they like him better than ME?)

Oh and I went to say I would love to interview you for the book tour but The List Won't allow me to post a comment (there isn't even a link--it just says post a comment with no hyperlink that I can click on) and no place to volunteer. Is your other blog specist?!

Vegas. Yay.

You volunteered for more responsibility at work? Not going to happen with me, ever! But all the best in your efforts. Happy TT! :)

Oo I got a way-too-expensive special pillow aswell as I was having sore necks. But I still wake up with sore necks. It makes me think it's just a gymick.

My mum totally loves Asterisk more than me!

You're going to Las Wages? How fun! I love that city. And....about coupon clipping, I see nothing wrong with that!!! Every little bit helps. The old saying 'a penny saved is a penny earned' comes to mind, but with inflation...well, you know!

Death Valley huh? How cool is that?!!!

Hope your Thanksgiving was super. [Heck, you're probably IN Nevada now, huh?!]
