You Need Peed :)

I was driving to the dreaded gym yesterday when I pulled up next to this van at a stoplight. It had in big letters across the side PEED. I looked twice to make sure I wasn't imagining this, and no, indeed, it said PEED. Actually it said PEED PLUMBING which I just thought was hilarious. (am I the only one seeing the humor here? It's a plumbing company called peed?)

Their slogan? YOU NEED PEED. Their phone number? 866-401-PEED. Don't believe me? Here's their Web site.

I took a picture of the van with my new camera phone, but can't figure out how to get the picture off of the phone. How can I work for a telecom company and not know this? Argh!

And now, just for fun.

That is bloody hilarious!!! The owner of the company has to be nuts to call his company that. I can imagine if I drove past it, Id have to pull over otherwise I would have an accident!

What a boring url, though! In the vein of Powergenitalia or Penisland, I think they could have come up with something far more creative!

(BTW, I've just noticed that you're taking part in the 2996 project. Well done, you have my admiration.)

LOL you sound like a friend of mine, she works for Verizon but has the oldest type of cell phone in existence LOL!

I think you have to e-mail the picture from your phone to yourself, but of course, there's a fee.

Damned telecom companies! :)

I think you can plug your phone into your PC USB port and just grab the pics from it.

So my dad needs a plumber to come fix the refridgerator and I called last night as asked him if he NEEDED PEED. HAHA. Hey, he lives in the area, he can call PEED at any time.

So funny! Gary Peed (yes, the man who started the company...I was nerdy enough to read about the history on their website) must have had a tortuous childhood.

During roll call:
"Gary Peed? Gary Peed?"

Yes, he did!

What a hoot. I'd say it had me to the point where I PEED my pants. NO? Too much? I'm still licking off some of Melli's feast right now, and then I come to yours....
What a riot.

I'm in shock that someone would actually use his last name to run a business. Either he sees the irony in it and finds it hilarious (like we do), or he is too naive to think that anyone out there is getting the joke. Too, too funny!
