Thursday 13 - Cherry Blossom Time

We went for a drive into DC last weekend to see the cherry blossoms. We battled a TON of people, but got some really nice photos. So this week, my Thursday 13 is 13 (okay, it's 14, so shoot me) photos of the blossoms for you to enjoy!

They are gorgeous! I didn't go down this year -- but I think you and I took the EXACT same picture of the Jefferson Memorial - only about 3 years apart! LOL! I did a double take!

Did ya get the book?

I'm curious...what kind of cherry trees are those? I mean can you come back and eat lots of cherries when they're ripe? (I know the birds will get most of them! They get most of mine too.)

Hi Carmen--just found your name in one of my old blogs--applying to be my daughter in law. I did a TT last week.

Always love your photos. Keep it up.

it's truly sad that we have nothing similar here. those pretty trees would probably collapse with all our humidity!

So gorgeous. The Jefferson Memorial is my favorite - tucked away in such a peaceful spot. I could sit there all day - especially when those Cherry blossoms are out. Lucky dog.
