Going south, ya'll!

Well, my trip to Barbados is a mere three weeks away, and I'm getting pretty excited. I need a vacation badly.

But you know me, I can't go on a trip without having another one planned.

So in October, the BF and I are heading to Charleston, S.C. The trip has a two-fold purpose. First is just a tourist purpose. We've never been there, and we're looking forward to seeing the old city. The second purpose is to scope it out and see if we'd maybe like to live there. We're both tired of winters, and the BF really misses coastal living, so we'll see.

In other news, you may be interested to know that I have decided to self-publish my novel. It will be available on, and I'll have a blog for it, a Facebook page, a Facebook book club for it, etc. Prepare to be bombarded! :) (And to answer your questions, yes, I'll do a virtual booksigning for anyone who's interested. My blog buddies will definitely not be forgotten! I'll even give away a copy on my blog, which I'll post here when everything's set!)

Wish me luck!

At any rate, I have already chosen a VP--It's always been Derby and I!
