Photo of the Day

Sydney Opera House

I know I've been a bad, bad blogger. It's just that with all the freelance projects, I've been a busy bee.

I picked this photo, because one of my freelance assignments was to write about my trip to Synday, Australia. It was nice to remember how I felt when the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge first came into view. It was surreal - like a dream. I was drawn to the Opera House many times - in it's New Year's Eve finery, in the middle of a hot summer day with the sun bouncing off its sails, from atop my Harbor Bridge climb, and at dusk, with beautiful, HUGE bats flying around its lights looking for a snack. It makes me tear up just to think about it. I hope you all have the opportunity to see it for yourselves someday. Until then, admire the above picture and dream of where music floats.

So glad you were able to post... sounds like you've been very busy. I hope you've had fun being so busy.

While I would love to go to Australia one day...I don't see it happening unless I can talk my little brother into taking me with him. LOL, like that will ever happen. ha ha! Oh well.

Ah how wonderful to be so busy doing exactly what you love. We miss you but are glad that this type of project seems right up your alley Carmen!

Can you believe that I've lived in Australia for 18 years and it wasn't until March this year that I went to Sydney for the first time. I got to see it in the day time, but from your photo I wish I'd seen it at night time aswell. Maybe one New Years Eve I'll go.
