Blogging slump

I don't know what is going on, but I'm in a blogging slump. I know you've all become accustomed to witty rants and engaging writing. I think it's mostly because I'm exhausted, but I just can't think of anything to write. I could write about my broken a/c - boring. How about the kitchen floor that has to be re-installed? bleck.

So this morning, I'm writing about cereal. Yes, cereal. It's the food that you can eat for any meal. I'd have to say my favorite cereal is Cocoa Krispies. Haven't been able to eat those in a while, though, because they aren't the healthiest option. So normally, I chow down on Honey Nut Cheerios. However, recently, I'm on a Wheaties kick. I can drown them in Splenda and make them pretty sweet. :)

Do you have a favorite?

Cereal is good! I DO have a favorite! Cinnamon Toast Crunch! I eat it EVERY morning... and because it is a sugar coated low fiber cereal with mostly not great nutritional value, I MIX it half and half with All Bran. That way I get LOTS of fiber (and other good stuff) and still get to eat my sugar coated cinnamon stuff! :)

Cereal is a GREAT topic! (what happend with the kitchen floor?)

LOVE cereal! Can't have "sugar" cereal in the house, though, because I'd eat the entire box within 2 days. I normally eat Shredded Wheat 'n Bran mixed with Kashi Go Lean and strawberries every morning. My favorite sugar cereal is Golden Grahams, though.

I have a few suggestions. Tell us about your upcoming vacation and any others that you have in the works. Give us the "scoop" on your neighbors, any gossip or kooks? Your favorite meal to cook and why. If you could invite 20 people to dinner who would you invite?

Cinnamon Life! It's been my fav for a few months, now! I also like Uncle Sam's with Berries...healthy!

Hmmm my human has also been in a blog slump and talking her into writing anything has been a challenge! It will pass.

Personally I prefer a bit of canned cat food for breakfast over cereal. My human is a yogurt with almonds and flax seeds kind of woman--but once in awhile she gets into some kashi cereal.

All Bran. It's not my fave but I am disciplined and I need it :)
I never leave home without it!

I don't do cereal, heck I don't do breakfast, but I still get a hankering for Fruity Pebbles

Special K Red Berries!!!!! It's the cereal with the most sweet content that I will buy - 'cause if I have it, I'll eat it. I'm not one to waste food.

I have to say that I've been making quite a few smoothies inthe morning lately. I'll use the frozen fruits, add protein powder, fresh fruit, yummy juice, rice milk and sometimes some wheat germ/grape nuts type of stuff.

Mmmmmm.....

Umm, Frosted Flakes probably. Lucky Charms are good. And Apple Jacks have always been a fave. I'm currently working on a box of Honey Smacks. Pretty much anything unhealthy :)

I used to like Honeycomb, but I think they changed them or something. The last time I bought some, they didn't taste the same.

Have you ever tried Basic 4? It's really good--I usually snack on it without milk in the mornings...I'm all about the portable snacks.

You know what happened when I tried to eat some Kashi twigs and bark cereal. I could have saved $4 and gone out front and eaten some of my landscaping.

Honey Bunches of Oats with almonds is my fave. I'm also a fan of granola cereal (sans raisins).

But my favorite breakfast? In 15 days, it will be copious amounts of Blue Oceans in the Dominican Republican. Or a daquiri. Hey, it's "fruit".

So much stuff...OK .. I've been through those slumps - this too shall pass.

As for cereal, I'm on a Life kick, but ... this too shall pass ... and I'll be back to the Wheaties or Grape Nuts flakes.

A local radio host was talking about how he has twice seen a guy eating cereal WHILE DRIVING on his way to work. Odd.
As for me, cereal is a religious experience that is not to be disrupted by the chore of driving. Nor should it be.
