This week is LOST. Next week is DREAMING.

LOST=

I saw this sign in Kinsale, Ireland. But it didn't help me find what I was looking for, as the arrows didn't really point to anything.

Ooh, look, I'm first! Great interpretation! Mine'll be up much, much later :-)

Awesome pic! Anyone would definitely get lost with those signs.

It would be an easy choice for me ... Jim Edwards. Did you go there?

Carmen said...

Janet - hurry up. ;)

Kay - thanks Kay. I liked your pics too. :)

Anthony, we didn't make it to Jim Edwards. We went into another joint for some shepard's pie, and had to drive to Blarney Castle next. So no Guiness for me in Kinsale! Hard enough driving on the wrong side of the road without adding alcohol to the mix. :)

Very cute signs....I had such a hard time trying to figure out what kind of picture to post.

It will be interesting to see what everyone chooses this week, won't it?

Happy Saturday!

I'm always posting "early" since I'm 7-10 hours ahead of the States, and every week I try to pre-schedule my photo hunt post to be published at midnight Friday evening. But at that time I can't find anyone else who has posted, so I wait until noon Saturday :D

Nice sign jungle you have here...

I would feel very lost if this was all I had for directions! Give me a good map any day! Great shot!

What a great idea!

I'd love to be lost in Ireland. Wouldn't be hard to find a pub nearby!

Great pic!

(Sorry about the lightbulb note; that was leftover from Works for Me Wednesday.)

Ahhh....my little world wide traveler...come on by, I have some very familiar pictures for you. Wish you were here for the fall follage festivals...the city is really crowded with touristh. (Toasting you with hot apple cider!)

I guess you'd really have to know where you were going in order to NOT get lost based just on this sign. Great choice!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

haha love those Irish signs. My uncle in England says signs are only for people who know where they're going.

That would have me going in circles! Great photo.

Oh, that has happened to me before in several states - Wichita, Kansas is the most CONFUSING place to drive around as is DC... among other places. Great sign and I'd love to go to Ireland!

Heather said...

Ohh cool sign! Does look plently confusing though!

I got lost in Ireland when my friend and I hit a really rural area and the signs were all in Gaelic. It was a real scratch-your-head-and-panic moment.

Creative take on the theme! Mine's up too.

Ah, you always have such interesting pictures from your travels. Funny how supposedly helpful signs can be so unhelpful, isn't it?

I played too.

Girlie said...

Where are you supposed to turn again? :)

Anonymous said...

So what you're saying are that even the sign were lost....? *lol*

It looks cool though, even if it didn't help.

Looks like you're counting down to Hawaii, you'll love it, it's our favorite place to vacation. There's a great set of books on each island I could recommend if you haven't already got some . . .

And yes, anything with words across the butt is a horrible idea. You've gotta wonder what posseses people to want others to look at their seats.

I like this one!

You're definitely right.

At least it is in English. I have been in Rome with signs like that and they really don't help. I couldn't even pronouce some of the words.
