Thirteen Things on My Life List
All this talk about life lists made me think I'd share with you 13 things on mine. Some things I've been able to check off. Wha'ts on your Life List?
  1. Ring in New Year's Eve in Sydney, Australia. Check
  2. Ride on the Orient Express.
  3. Plant my feet on every continent. (I've covered North America, Africa, Australia and Europe. 3 More to go!)
  4. Learn to scuba dive.
  5. Get a book published. (Well, I've written the book, publishing is a bit out of my control.)
  6. Learn to surf. (And be able to stand on the board while not getting eaten by a shark.)
  7. Be an extra in a movie.
  8. Live in Europe for a year.
  9. Record one of the songs I wrote.
  10. Try caviar.
  11. Experience a toe-curling, mind-numbing, knock-you-on-your-ass kiss.
  12. Run for office.
  13. See the Taj Mahal.

scuba diving and the taj mahal would be awesome.

You are well on your way to getting these all done. It's a great list.

That is such an awesome list! You really gave it a lot of thought. (You must be watching a lot of Ellen.) What is your book about? Fiction or non? The main thing on my life list is to enjoy the moment. Because I move so much, I need to always remind myself to enjoy the current place and take advantage of what the city offers.

Cool list. Maybe you could combine some: Being an extra eating caviar in a movie made in Europe.

Although the kiss at the Taj may be more fun!

My list is up, perhaps telling you more than you needed to know about meme. :)

Wow, very ambitious list...all sounds incredible. I am surprised after all of your travels you haven't tried caviar yet. it's good, super salty.

Hey I'm having an art gallery opening over at my blog today.

Hope you can stop by for a drink and a little visit!

    Cheers

Well, I've done two of those... Good luck on the publishing--it's a tough business.

I don't have a life list--I don't even know if there's anything I really want to do enough to put on one. Hmmm. Off to go think about this.....

Great list. I don't think any of yours would be one mine, but I've accomplished most of what I wanted.

Thanks for visiting my food triggers.

Ok, ok...I see you put "record one of the songs I wrote," but didn't indicate you had to sing it.

I'll do it. Don't beg. Desperation has never looked good on you, Carmen!

Very cool list! the only one of these I have experienced is number 11. LOL!

    Red said...

Oh, go on, Miss Carmen, make another one true and come to Europe! We can be friends for real, then, instead of just webby friends!

I had a hard time making it past the breakers this past weekend at the beach. There were lots of surfers, but it looked so dangerous. I'd rather be reading. I guess going to Hawaii is on my list. I hope I'll get to do more than look at photos of your trip.

Mine have sand between their toes.

    Lisa said...

Done the Scuba Diving and running for office. Your list is awesome. Keep going, you'll get that list done!

Congrats! You've alread done more than most people do in a lifetime! Hey, maybe you can learn to surf when you're in Hawaii! You could also eat caviar on the beach. That would knock 2 items off your list!

    Geggie said...

Ok, I've done numbers 10 and 11. But, not #11 until I met the love of my life at 29 years old! Three and a half years later, he can still knock my socks off!

You remind me of my husband - he's a DO-er ... loves to go and do things. I am a "read about someone else doing it" kind of person. :) So keep doing and writing and I'll keep reading! :)

Thanks for stopping by Snarkypants and cheering me up over my lame post! :) I'm glad you don't think it's (too) lame! hehe
