SHE'S BAA-AAACK!

Let me just say that I had such an awesome time in Egypt. I felt like I had done something monumental, and not once did I feel unsafe.

Egypt is certainly an ego boost for women. In one 15 minute walk, we had 3 marriage proposals, 87 honks and 15 "you're beautiful"s. No inappropriate groping - is that good or bad? ;)

The Pyramids were awesome to see, and I especially enjoyed the Sound and Light Show, which we saw in French. (There was no English show on our first night there, and we just couldn't wait.) Le Morte! Le Pyramids!

I had a hard time getting back home, though. All the flights out of JFK to DC were canceled due to weather, so I had to rush to take a train, and got home 7 hours after I'd planned to. I'm more exhausted from that than the trip itself.

I'm sure you're all wondering about the photos. Well, I took a lot, and I'm still getting them all organized and uploaded and such. I hope to have them done in time for the Thursday Thirteen. Meanwhile, here's one of my favorites to hold you over.

Welcome back!! Glad to see you made it safe and sound and I'm happy you had a blast! Wow...that certainly sounds like an ego boost! I need to get to Egypt quick! For that and to see the pyramids, which I sure were just incredible. :)

Oh and I'm now addicted to those chocolate kissables. Like my fat ass needed MORE chocolate. :)

Great photo. So glad you are back and had a fantastic time. Why are you surprised ? Egypian men are used to "hot chicks" from all that time in the dessert. Looking forward to Thursday.

If I ever go to Egypt, I'll take a triangluar hat so I will better blend into the background.
