I'm having a bad monday. My condo association, which is evil incarnate, is making me crazy. They reportedly "fixed" a roof leak that cost me about $300 in paint and labor and who knows how much in pain and suffering. It's now leaked again. Same spot. Same damage. Oh, and the gutter problem I've been reporting for TWO YEARS? Yeah, the gutter FELL OFF THE BUILDING. It's still hanging there, threatening to slam into my window when the next storm comes tonight. I'm in the mood to kick a little ass.

But I'm trying to relax. I mean, there are other, more important things in the world to concern myself with. I'll take us back to last week when I got my hair done at a new salon.(I don't know if you read my old rant about my last stylist, but I went recruiting.)

This salon was Da Bomb! First, they had the very first comfortable hair washing bowl I've ever had the pleasure of using. My neck is always hurting in these things! Then, the bowl is attached to a chair. A chair that reclines. A chair that massages. A chair I never wanted to leave. Combine that with a woman who washes hair with a MEAN head massage and Da-amn!

Oh, and the hair cut was nice too.

As for the evil condo association... that stinks!! Want my mom to send them a shrunken head? You know...for bad luck? :)

Sheesh...what is with the corporate world! Why can't they just fix the problems as they ARE supposed to, without making you pay extra? It is really unfair!! Ok, I'll quit ranting now. *s*

Thanks for visiting today....and I hope you will have a better day tomorrow!

ick about the condo drama. That's never fun. I have a friend who has a condo and hers has been bad luck for her. What is it with condos? I love getting a head massage with my hair wash. I would pay weekly if I could just have that done (well and afford it that is!)

With a chair like that I don't blame you for not wanting to get up and leave!

Sorry to hear about the problems with your condo. I hope you get the issues fixed soon.

Well, maybe every condo association is evil, since I think mine is too. I've been here 15 years, and EVERY time I get a letter with their return address, it makes me shudder.

I don't know why, maybe it's because they never write to say, "thanks for 15 years of trouble-free ownership."

Instead, it's some dopey notice about how we can't BBQ on our decks (don't own a BBQ) or how someone is running unopposed for Condo board, and I didn't vote.

Oy.

Hot. Poker. Their. A$$e$. Immediately. Give 'em the ol' IMHOTEP treatment. Your condo idiots have clearly overdosed on the stupid pill.

I had an interesting experience a few months ago that left me looking for a new place to get a haircut.

Yeah, I'm thinkin' there's a decent chance I'll be the only guy commenting on the hair salon post :)

I have been looking for a new haircutting place. My salon is 3 hours + away. It's a tad inconvient. But certain things you don't want to change...hair (if it's good) dentist, gyno....seriously....some places that hands go, you have to be comfortable with

condo associations suck but I may be biased since I lived in a condo for quite some time! Good luck.

Hope you have better days this week! :-)

The hair bowl always really hurts me too. I always thought I just had a weird shaped head. I hate it...I actually put off getting my hair cut to avoid "the bowl."

Stay dry!
