Thirteen of the Top Places on CARMEN's Travel List
- Galapagos Islands Too many animals, too little time.
- Moscow & St. Petersburg: Thinking of this one next summer. Red Square, here I come. (Unless George W. can figure out a way to piss them off, too, interrupting my travel plans.)
- Fiji: Autralia is where I thought I'd go on my honeymoon, but since I'm still single and looking, and I've now been there, Fiji's the romantic destination on my list.
- Tahiti: Or, I could honeymoon in Tahiti. I'm not inflexible.
- Scotland Remember my post on http://www.dateahotscot.com/? Maybe I should go here first so I can get to Fiji or Tahiti.
- New Zealand: If it wasn't for that darn long flight!
- Australia (West Coast): Yep, I'd go back to Aussie land in a heartbeat.
- Italy: I've been to Venice, Florence and Rome. I'd like to go back and see Pompeii and Siciliy and the southern part of Italy.
- Greece: I'd love to island hop here in the summer!
- Easter Island: When Matt Lauer went here for Where in the World is Matt Lauer, I was like "That's going on my list!"
- Brazil: Anywhere in South America, really.
- Stonehenge I want a sunset photo at Stonehenge.
- Germany: This is where my peeps are from. I'd like to get back to my roots.

Cool list, I haven't been to any of them bar Scotland (i live in Scotland so it dosn't really count as going there) and I went through a bit of Germany on a bus but didn't stop. LOL.

Wow, what a great list! You are going to have a very well traveled life!
We just got back from Italy and Sicily! Taomina in Sicily is unbelievable!!! Don't miss that if you go there. We also saw Pompeii on this trip. I found out lots I didn't know about that city. For example: It is/was a very large city -- and it was covered in ash, not in lava. And Naples is beautiful!!
I blogged about it a little bit -- no internet access while we were actually ON the trip.

Germany - great pick (didn't know what you had your roots there). I miss my homeland sometimes (okay lot of times). But when you go, go in the summer - much nicer.

Let's see here, I've been to German and Italy. Have always wanted to go to Moscow and to New Zealand. And I sure wouldn't turn down a ticket to any of your other choices. Wouldn't it be great to have enough money to just GO?

Awesome list of places to go and see. I've been to Venice and Florence, very nice. I'd like to see the south of France or Spain, I hear Portugal is beautiful!

Hope you get to go to all of these! I love to go on trips, but strangely I have no desire to go outside the US (except for maybe going back to Jamaica).
You gotta go to Scotland! It's so awesome. The best part was that right after we got there, we were riding the bus from the airport to the hotel and we passed a church with a wedding about to begin. Outside were all these gorgeous men in kilts and one of them actually waved at us. *sigh*
I would love to see Italy. Particularly Tuscany.

Goooood Lordy! I think you win for the most visitors to a 13 list this week!!! LOL! Greece is my number one TOP goal in travel these days! I have not yet decided which island I will hit -- like you I would LIKE to hop around on them! But I'm afraid my hopping will be limited to on one foot on ONE island! You've got a great list going though! (and a vacation coming soon - right?)

You are so well traveled. I wish I could go to some of those. The only place I have been out of state is Honduras on a mission trip. It was actually a really wonderful place to visit. My TT is up.

I am so with you about most of those places. Scotland is one of my absolutely favorite places to go. And Stonehenge is definitely worth it; I was way more impressed than I'd expected. Have you been to Prague? Back in the 90's, I almost chucked everything to stay there...
I would love to go to any one of those places...but I HATE to fly!! :)
Ahhhh. Travelling, our favorite subject! We've been to Scotland twice and it's sooooo worth it! Will go there in the future again. Greece: been on honeymoon on the island Crete - marvelous mountain views and beaches, especially Elafonissi beach on the south side.
Brazil: recently been there, see out photos on Flickr (from our menu). We went to a ranch in Paraguay, then visiting the waterfalls Iguazu (a must, beats Niagara fall a million times) and then the wonderful beach paradise Natal.... *dreaming back*
