Thirteen of CARMEN's Favorite Travel Spots - Sydney, Australia. The Opera House was gorgeous, I climbed the Harbor Bridge, and I saw the New Year's Eve celebration there. AWESOME!
 - Venice, Italy. There is truly no place like it. I took a gondola ride with my friend, but one day, I'll go back with my future guy.
 - Rome, Italy. I wanted to see it rain through the oculus in the Pantheon. It was sunny when we went in, it rained for 15 minutes, and then was sunny again! Plus, don't get me started on the gelato!
 - Paris, France. I loved everything except the food. But I could learn to live on chocolate croissants! The gargoyle gallery at Notre Dame was my favorite.
 - Aruba. They don't call this place one happy island for nothing!
- Las Vegas, NV. Penny slots, free drinks, Mandalay pool, Bellagio fountains, Luxor spa, Emeril's restaurants - I could go on for days.
 - Cairnes, Australia. Koalas, Jellyfish, Kangaroos - Oh My!
 - Dingle, Ireland. The western coast of Ireland was beautiful, and very green.
 - Nice, France. I've never been anywhere where everyone stops what they're doing to watch the sunset like in Nice.
 - New York, NY. I'm over the touristy stuff, but there's nothing like a nice dinner and a Broadway play. Wicked was awesome, and the Lion King was amazing.
 - New Orleans. I hope it can come back to its previous glory. I loved it there. The food was delicious.
 - If you don't venture out of your all-inclusive resort, you'll think you're in paradise.
 - Washington, DC. Ok, I live in the 'burbs of DC, but I become a tourist when the cherry blossoms bloom! (Ain't my grandmom cute?)

I have been to most of those places (except 4, 5, 10 & 13), and loved them just as much and would go back to each of them in a heartbeat. Actually, I go to Cairns all the time since it's only a few hours away.

What a fun list! I looked at your photo blog, too and enjoyed your photos--funny, I'm Carmen, too and love taking pictures--macrophotography mostly.
The only "exotic" place I've been is Puerto Rico--got a few photos from there on my blog in archives.
I have been to #8. Belfast, Dublin and Derry
and I can't wait to go to all the other places!!!
