South Beach

What do you do with a 9-hour layover in Miami? South Beach, baby! It took about 20 minutes in a taxi from the airport (though with traffic, about 45 minutes back).

There's a definite "vibe" to South Beach. There's music and food and beautiful people. And, it's like a parade of rich people, with Bentlys and Maseratis and Beamers and Mercedes rolling by.

And it's HOT! Whew, I couldn't live there, because as a VERY white person, I'd melt. However, it was fun to visit and shop for a few hours.
