Friend Friday

I can't explain to you the feeling I get on Fridays. The prospect of two whole days ahead of me without work crap is the best feeling ever. And no gym until Sunday - so two days in a row of not having to cardio myself to death. Fridays also mean that I don't have to wake up early on Saturdays, so I am able to take one of my perscription sleeping pills and get pretty much the only night of sleep I get all week. Fridays are just the best days!

And I'm feeling extra good today, because I'm excited about some friend prospects here in my new town. I joined up with this social group to force myself to get out and meet peope. I met these few girls that all hang out, and they have accepted me as one of their own. We've even taken to calling each other between events, and I've been invited out tonight with them for a girl's night. It's surprising how we all kind of gelled right away, like we've known each other for years. And I feel like I'm part of the popular kids. Mostly, I'm just hoping that it continues and I have some new people that I like to hang out with, and can call for shopping or dinner or something.

My friend Christina sent me some housewarming tulips. I adore tulips, they really say "spring" to me. The current weather doesn't say spring - it's cold. Brr. Mother Nature's sick joke of dangling 80 degree temps at me and then making it 40. But anyway, here are my tulips:
