I Voted

I waited for the lines to clear, and then I went to cast my ballot. It only took about 5 minutes, and, as usual, I got a little emotional. I am blessed to be able to express my (sometimes strong) opinion and choose who will take us into the next 4 years. Virginia is a state to watch tonight, and I hope we go blue!

PS: I wrote an editorial about it for work. Read it here.

even though i'm in australia and not america, the election was still the biggest topic of conversation. Everybody had it on there computers all day and watching to see who would win.

I always feel kind of shaky. When the touch screen went red with X's I thought I had done it wrong at first. I love going around after voting with my I VOTED sticker displayed.
