Great Decisions

I had to drive back up to Northern Virginia yesterday to attend an "all hands" meeting at work. I hadn't really had enough withdrawl time before going back to my old stomping grounds, so I was really stressed about it.

Let me just say that the best decision I ever made was to move away from there. Ugh. After only one day I was honking and yelling in the car and flipping people off and getting honked at and gasping at people weaving in front of trucks and *sigh. I am so over all that.

I did meet up with one of my friends for dinner, and I do miss them. Even though I didn't get to see them all that much when I lived up there. We had FONDUE! yum yum.

So now I'm home again, appreciating the new digs and the calmer lifestyle.

I would LOVE to go out for fondue, but I can't find anyone that will go with me!! My husband says they don't give you enough food and he hates cheese and fruit. They do serve meat, right?!

I went out for fondue last Sunday; the chocolate was to DIE for, but I wasn't impressed with the cheese or coq au vin!

So funny. I love going up to NoVa. I'm in the DC area about three days a week, three weeks of the month. I'll be headed up there tomorrow. I like it sooo much better than in Norfolk.

I like the chocolate fondue the best! :D

I'm glad you made the right decision about moving locales, I think less stress is a good thing!

I just wanted to let you know that I just started the metformin... and they said it would take a week or two for my body to get used to it and the side effects to go away. So I hope that happens. I can deal with the loss of appetite...but not the other thing... *wink*

You have struck on my reason to love Philly and hate NY. As for fondue, if its the Melting Pot, all you need is the dessert. Oh my freaking Goddess thats good

I'm not sure I've ever actually had Fondue. I should do that soon...I mean, who knows what I'm missing. :)
