I'm On Vacation!

This is my last post before going on vacation. :) So here's a little funny that friend Irish sent me to tide you over until I return. It's in honor of my next vacation, which will be to London.

NOTE: This is a joke. I have British friends, I have French friends, I have friends in Spain, I have German heritage, I loved Italy. Laugh a bit. It'll make you feel better and burn some calories. :) I also laugh at the American system, which came from a crayola box and has been at "Orange" since it's inception.

Terror alerts in Europe

The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to a "Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was during the great fire of 1666.

Also, the French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide." The only two higher levels in France are "Surrender" and "Collaborate." The rise was precipitated by recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.

Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing." Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides."

The Germans also increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs." They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbor" and "Lose."

Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual and the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels.

The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.

If you can make fun of crayons, I think I'll have to change terror alert designations... hmmm... while you're on vacation, so you'll probably miss it...

Yeah, terrorist are a bloody nuisance. Dh couldn't explain it to me, but I have to drive all the way to the base and have my ID redone because somehow he got dropped out of the system...I think it had something to do with his re-enlisting. So now I have to try to get on base with my now worthless ID to go get a new one. But he thinks the "rent-a-cops" they're using will probably let me in with no problems because they just look at the ID which says it's valid and not in the system that will say it isn't.

Have a great vacation and give us all the details when you return...hoping there's lots of eye candy and other yummies there!
