The Blogging Slump Continues

But Geggie had a great idea. She left me some suggestions in comments of things that she thought she'd like to read about on my blog. So leave a suggestion about things I could write about, and I'll try to take on the subject. :)

Geggie's suggestion was that I talk about my upcoming trip. So, as you can see from the countdown, I'm less than 2 weeks away from a long weekend in the Dominican Republic(an). ;) I'm heading down with Friend Irish. We take separate planes to Charlotte, and then connect when we get there and fly down to the Carribean together.

I'm most looking forward to summer weather (it's been so wierd, weather-wise here), getting some sun, and keeping a buzz for 4 days. It's an all-inclusive resort, so all the drinks and food are on the house. (or paid for in advance, depending on how you look at it.)

I don't normally like just sitting around on the beach, but I'm actually looking forward to a vacation where I do nothing. Because I'm seriously contemplating a summer trip to London, and that will be NOT relaxing, because there's so much to see.

OK, what do I talk about next?

we could get an update on your back too? I bet laying on the beach will be nice to do...just relax a little and enjoy the men that bring you drinks :)

Sounds like the perfect way to spend four days! I'm actually heading to Richmond tonight. I have meetings tomorrow, but drop me a line if you'd like to have a drink!

I haven't ever gone on a real vacation. Can I stow away in your luggage? I'm 4 feet 11 so I can fit!! :)

The people are very friendly there. Have a great, relaxing time.
That video of the cats on your sidebar cracks me up!

Oooh, sounds like a fun time. Relaxing vacations are always good.

How about how things are going in your new place? Have you found any cool new places to go?

This sounds like my perfect getaway...do they have massages on the beach too? Okay, I'll take the massage in the spa or my room.

DD wants to know who will be cat-sitting Pooh for you. She's just starting her cat sitting business. Her first job is a kitten this Memorial Day weekend.

Tell us about your favorite summer vacation from your childhood!

I'm sure you'll have such a great time. I like the all-inclusive places. You don't have to worry that the drinks at the pool are $20 and you just had 6. oops. Let's see...tell us the story of Pooh--where, when, and why you got him. Pooh's favorite things...And then Monday I'll look forward to a boy update!

How about writing about how you got into blogging?

Here's an idea: "Tag! You're it!"

That's not helpful, you might say. It is if you click through to my blog and find out what it all means...

Hmm... I wonder if Julia and I are thinking alike? I just tagged you for the 8 random things meme. Happy writing :-).

I'm so glad I'm not the only one with the blogging slumps. It must be going around!

I would like to know if there is somewhere in this great, big world that you have NOT been to that you desperately desire to visit!
