So folks have been asking me for updates for a few things, so I thought I'd answer:

1. The neighbor: After telling him nicely to back off, there have been no incidents this week. He did try to talk to me a little too long in the parking lot the other day. Dude, I am getting into the car to go someplace, I didn't come out here to chat with you. But whatever. At least he didn't call me to make sure my carpet was clean or whatever random thing he could think of that day.

2. The guy I liked: I don't know what's going on. He IMed me after our "date", and then I IMed him the next day, saying it'd be nice to get together before he left next week for work and he said "sure!". He's booked this weekend, and he was supposed to attend another event last night that I went to - he didn't show up. (which was no biggie to me, because I was meeting other people.) At this point, I've almost lost interest.

3. My bruises from the "cupping" at the accupuncture session are gone, but my neck is still really sore.

Other events:

I almost killed a very cute motorcyclist last night on the way home from the event, having gotten lost downtown for the umpteen millionth time, and turning onto a one-way street. Sigh. But I pulled up beside him and apologized, and he was really cool about it, and he was cute, so there you go.

Work is work. Nobody seems to know what's going on. I got yelled at, and then the guy had the balls to call my boss to complain about me. He can kiss my ass, as he is one. (My boss knows what an ass he is, and therefore is ok with the whole thing.)

My mom and dad are visiting this weekend. This is a big deal, since my dad isn't big on going anywhere. So it'll be nice to see them.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

one thing I've learned about people not showing up is you just never know why, so you shouldn't assume anything until you hear the reason. it never ceases to amaze me at crazy stuff that happens!

Hey, good updates! All the things I was wondering. Run in with the cute motorcyclist sounds so very "Sex in the City" cool! Have a great weekend with your parents.

Carmen. KILLING Motorcyclists is NOT the way to meet them... not even the cute ones! They are EVER so much more fun when they are LIVING! ;)

Have a great visit with your folks this weekend!

You're more than welcome to hop a plane and come to the party...but it looks like you have plans with your folks. ;o)

Here is the question: did you go in for neck pain? I mean if you did, then yeah, well your neck will be sore. However, if you went in for something else and they didn't explain why--my human is banging her head against the wall again.

did the cute motorcyclist give you his number or ask for yours? I mean if he was cute this could be the perfect way to meet.

As most women, you really need to take lessons from your cat (or me or Kukka), Carmen. If it's not all about you, then the guy isn't worth it... Cats know. We are the center of the universe. When will you learn to demand the same treatment? (From human men, not cats).

almost killing a motorcyclist is a more interesting way of meeting a guy than online!

I'm glad you didn't kill him. Maybe something unavoidable happened to the other guy, be patient, maybe he'll turn back up.

have fun with your parents, it's always nice to have visitors.

I was wondering how things were going with that neighbor of yours!

That stinks about the guy - you should have picked up the motocyclist! ;)

Hope you have a great weekend with your parents!

I've heard of making an impression but not by running over the motorcyclist. Hope you have a great weekend with your folks. Thanks for the updates....I know I'll sleep better!

I'm glad the neighbor didn't take things personally. It would make for such an awkward situation.

As for the date, I say let it go. You made an attempt for a second date. Now it's up to him. Besides, it's his loss.

How cool is that? I'm thinking 'this weekend' was last week. Hope it went well.
