Bad Trip, Good Trip

I have decided that Pooh Bear is a bad drug user. His new catnip toy is causing bad trips, I think. For example, Sunday morning, I came downstairs to find him snurfling with the catnip toy, and he spent the entire day afraid of me and hiding under my bed. Yesterday morning, he was licking the toy, and spent the morning howling like a wolf and then I found him hiding under the kitchen sink behind the trash can. No more catnip for Pooh.

But I'm getting ready to go on a good trip. As you can see above, I've added another countdown clock. Friend Irish and I are going on an all-inclusive trip over Memorial Day weekend to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We will be sitting on the beach for 4 days, drinking drinks, eating food, and basically just relaxing. And right now, though plans are a little fluid at the moment, I'm hoping to go to London for a really long weekend over the 4th of July. I live to travel.

Hailey tagged me to list 5 things about myself that I haven't mentioned on my blog before. So here goes.
1. I don't like vegetables. I'll eat 'em, but I don't like 'em.
2. I think I broke my nose when I was 6, but I don't know for sure
3. I played basketball in jr. high. My coach was an ass.
4. I play guitar, saxaphone, piano, bassoon (yes, bassoon), among other instruments.
5. I'm a really good driver.

Did you vote for Dancing with the Stars? I can't turn off this train wreck. I blame Apollo Anton Ohno. I really enjoy him. And Joey Fatone is fun to watch. I hope Ms. America goes home.

I came by here earlier, saw the countdown clock and wondered where on earth Punta Cana was. Thank you for informing me... that sounds de-lish.

Hey, girly, if you come to London, we MUST meet up! How exciting would that be?!? Keep me posted with your plans, and we can hook up for a meal or something, yeah?

PS: Don't worry, I won't force you to eat any vegetables...!

Thanks for those details! I can just see you on the beach and playing the basoon, but not at the same time.

Sock it to me!

LOL!

re: my blog. Yeah stuff picks the worst time to break...isn't that murphy's law? The guy who fixed our furnace said that his went out when we had our blizzard...so I'm glad it wasn't worse.

re: your trip...sounds lovely. DD asked Dh if we were going anywhere but to the wedding this year and he says probably not. Luckily we're going camping a lot. I hope that makes it fun for her.

re: Pooh. sorry he's tripping out there. poor guy.

I've heard great things about the Dominican. Sounds like a nice trip.

I haven't seen this issue of Dancing. I think it has run its course with me. I think they're a little thin on "stars" this time around, anyway. Besides, I'm still waiting for Cheryl Burke to return my call! :-)

Poor Pooh. That catnip can be bad stuff. Yes, I used when I was a young cat. If Obama is big enough to admit it, so can I. I no longer inhale when it's around. After all I have an image and well, we all know what happens when a President is on a bad trip, don't we?

LOL about Pooh! Funny stuff, I didnt realise it actually affected them, i thought it was all myth!

Yay about new holiday!

Thanks for doing the tag.

Whoa, Pooh! I didn't know that could happen to other cats; thought it was just my own weird pair. Next time, no catnip in the toy! So irritated Shandi didn't go home or even Leeza. I actually liked Paulina's humor and thought she was certainly better than good 'ol Billy Ray!

I can only imagine how many stamps you must have on your passport! I can't wait to see the pictures. You will be taking plenty of pictures, yes? You do realize I must live vicariously through you, yes? ;)

I think I'm probably the one person who isn't watching this show. I watched it during the first season and then lost interest.
