Everyone's Gone to Plaid

We're taking it global, people! We're making an impact! (Thanks to astute reader Janet who snapped this photo and shared it with me.)

I especially like the sign that says "Go Children Slow". That sign makes no sense. Shouldn't it say "Go Slow: Children"? Or should it be "Go: Slow Children" like they're Forrest Gump or something. :)

Wow! Kool! Fantastic that Janet noticed that and she had her camera all ready.

Leave it to Janet to always be prepared with a camera. That sign is disturbing though..who do they have working for their city?

fantastic I didn't get into an accident taking the picture while I was driving LOL!

So someone is out there driving YOUR car... how cheeky! You should claim that number plate back. Surely it's rightfully yours?!?

And on a Saab, no less.

It sounds like they want the kids to go, but to pace themselves; although they're still missing a comma and "slowly".
But, if they have slow kids in town, chances are they don't know the grammar.

I'm keeping my eyes peeled. Maybe there's a psychiatrist nearby with a license plate for me! :)

Haha that's really funny!!

And I think the sign should say Go Slow: Children!

First, I got the Michigan GON2PLD, but it didn't occur to me to monopolize and register ALL states (and countries).

Damn! Then I could have sold them on ebay for an exorbitant amount of money.

I think they should scrap the idea of the GO CHILDREN SLOW thing. I think they should just have a sign (like the one on your front door, Carmen) that says, "COME FAST ADULTS!"

We know that's how you roll...

You mean that isn't your SAAB? I didn't know that this going to plaid was a phenomenon that I should be aware of.

As for the caution sign...hummmm
I guess we should GO, because the Children are Slow. I couldn't tell what state that was...perhaps the education system there isn't that great.

I swear, the people who make the traffic signs are on crack.

He, he! great pic! well, Janet is quick! I sometimes see great things but by the time I have my digital cam ready there is nothing to take a pic of, lol! happy monday :)

Maybe it's saying it's ok to go, because the kids are slow enough to steer around. Like it's some slo-mo neighborhood...like the Knight Bus scene from the Harry Potter movies.

Love the license plate

The sign maker did not make it past eight grade English and now makes signs for a living.

Thank you for dropping by my blog. :)

"Wendy directed me here today"

LOL! The sign on OUR street says "SLOW Children At Play" ... we always took it as an insult! We thought it should say "GO SLOW, Brilliant children at play!"

How cool is that?

That's a very cool idea for a license plate. However, the sign on the right takes the cake. I'd like to see the sign on the right on a license plate; I think that would be classic.
