Can it Really Be Monday Again?

Sorry I didn't get around the blogosphere this weekend. I'm still fighting whatever little bug has taken up residence in my body. Whatever it is, he's partying away in there.

Stupid me thought I'd still go to the gym on Saturday. My heart rate monitor is set to beep at me if my HR goes to high - it started beeping after I walked up the stairs. That can not be good. Nor can the gay guy behind me on the weights singing B-A-N-A-N-A-S! with Gwen Stefanie. OMG. Shut up! I'm trying not to pass out here, and that is not helping!

Then last night, only because I'd already paid for it, I went on a ghost tour of Leesburg. More on that in my haunted Thursday 13 this week.

BTW, I'm going to apologize in advance to my blog friends. I may not be updating the blog everyday. I feel like I have to say something witty every day, and it's a lot of pressure. ;) Plus, I really want to put some effort into finishing book #2. So if I haven't updated that day, please stop by again. Ok? :)

Oh Carmen! I'm so sorry you're still feeling crappy! Little bug, GET LOST! I never feel that pressure to update every day -- If I feel like it I do, and if I don't, I don't! End of story! (although, I guess I've signed on for that November challenge to post SOMEthing everyday! oh boy...) Okay... quit reading my blithering drivel... go work on that NOVEL! People are WAITING!

No worries, Carmen. Blogging should be fun...we'll all stop by when our bloglines or blogrolling shows you've posted :-)

I think posting every day is a challenge, too -- although sometimes I get a little carried away! ;) Some days are better than others.

It's also not all that common. Most of the blogs I visit do not post every day. I generally take a break on weekends, since I notice traffic goes down.

Anyway, I hope you're feeling better. I've been blowing my nose for the past week or so.
Good luck with the novel. I don't have the attention span to write anything longer than 500 words, so I'd probably have to do it a paragraph at a time!
Meanwhile, I'll keep stopping by.

B-A-N-A-N-A-S at the gym? God hep us all!

Don't worry about updating daily. I have long since given up trying to do that myself (T13 was the first to suffer... too time-consuming to both write and comment everywhere in such a small time window). And I do have to devote some time to work that does pay money!

Good luck with your novel, and I hope you feel better soon.

Oh my gosh! A gay guy on the weights singing Gwen Stefani - I'd pay to see that. Not when I'm feeling barfy though.

Hope you feel better and good luck on the book!

I understand about delving into the writing thing. My post for tomorrow is "Blog like no one's reading"

I've been going back and forth because of some harshness I've received from anonymous visitors. But I'm not going to give in just because they want me to. If I quit, it'll be because I'm moving on in a different direction. Preferrably, away from them. They track what I say here to, so if they're reading...hi.

And I hope you get better. I admire the desire to workout. You are such a good role model. Can I be like you when I grow up?

I hope you feel better soon, Carmen...it is no fun being sick. We miss you but your health is more important than blogging right now. *s*

You're right, it is a lot of pressure. But that's what makes it fun, right?

Also preparing a scary Thursday Thirteen to rival any of that Stephen King jazz.
