Travel Tuesday
So I thought I'd institute a new VSE (Very Special Episode) of Gone to Plaid each Tuesday. I love to travel, you all SAY that you like to hear about it and see photos, so I'm going to post a photo of someplace I've been and you guess where it is. Ok? You're all going to play, right? Good, here's the first one.

Oh Anthony. That's a very good guess, but "Survey Said" XXX. It is in Europe, though. I can't read the wall either, if it makes you feel any better, and I was there.

I was going to guess Greece as well. It seems you have us fooled so far.
I am going to guess Rome. I don't know why, just seems like Rome. Please don't XXX me like Anthony, that will hurt my feelings. Let me down easy!

Leanne and Amy, you guessed it. It's Rome. You can see the Colesseum poking out behind the rock.
I think it's a GREAT idea! And I was thinking the picture was of Greece, but I see I was wrong :-)

Yes, I thought it was the Colosseum in the background. Rome is awesome, isn't it? And for me, the best part wasn't even the ancient ruins, it was the beautiful squares and the fountains and the imposing palazzi.... Oh, I'm longing to go back!

I think it is Rome, but now I see that that is right anyway. I promise I hadn't peeked when I guessed, and I only saw the answer accidentally.
I do like this idea! Maybe, though, post the answer the next day would be my only suggestion.

Well, I was gOINg to guess Ireland and I was GOing to be wrong! But yes, I think it will be a fun game! Perhaps we could have a LIST of the places you HAVE been though... so that we're not just shootin' in the dark? Just a suggestion...
