Thirteen Things Carmen likes Blog Visitors to Do
- Sign My Frappr Map: I want to take it global, people! And right now, I have a disproportionate number of women to men. Guys, show some love!
- Google Made me remove number 2.
- Comment: I love people that comment on my blog. I try to always return the favor and comment on your blog, too.
- Participate: Take the quiz. Play the game. Join in the fun. :)
- Visit My Peeps: They're good peeps, or they wouldn't be my peeps.
- Visit My Other Blog: I'm trying to get an agent and publish my book. The rejection letters are entertaining enough.
- Make Suggestions: I'm as close to perfect as I can be, under the circumstances, but there's always room for improvement.
- Not Spam Me: I don't care if you have an American Idol coin that's stamped on 2 sides. That's why I turned comment moderation back on.
- Play Well with Others: You may disagree, which is your right as a blogoverse citizen. But don't criticize anyone else's views. The only views on this site that are 100% irrefutable are mine. :)
- Not Abuse Mr. Linky: If you don't play the game of the day, just leave a comment and keep that linky space for the players. Or, back to #4, participate and leave your url.
- Come Back on Other Days Besides Thursdays: I get kind of lonely the rest of the week. :) I go from 100 linkys to 1 comment. Sigh.
- Not Complain About Word Verification: Oh, I hate it, too. But it saves me from having to hear from people who fall under #8. I apologize if the word is too long, or too hard to read. I want all of you guys to be able to leave comments easily, if only the world was without spam.
- Did I Mention Comment?: Ok, I ran out of things, but this one bears repeating.

Good list, Carmen. It's helpful to post guidelines like that since there are lots of people who are new to blogging and don't really get it yet.
Since I get spazzy clearing out spam comments from my WordPress blog (older version), I am MORE THAN HAPPY to type in the little word code thingy. Makes life so much easier. (I gotta update WP!)

Anyway just wanted to say I totally agree with this list and it is scary how similar our TT's are in a way this week lol.
#11 is sooo true! I'm today making a bloglines folder for just my thirteener homies so that I don't neglect them the rest of the week
I have been here on non-Thursdays, I just don't always comment. I will work on it!
Interesting concept for a T13 and I agree with so many of them. Spamming is probably my least favorite blog visitor behavior - that's why I added in word verification, but it seems that the occasional piece still gets through.

Heh thanks for visiting mine. I agree! I love Buffy seasons 1-3! The later ones have grown on me a bit more. Spike grew on me a lot more in the end after seeing season 7 a couple of times. I will try to visit more often than Thursday. Can't guarantee it though =)
Great list. I would add to say something more than "Hi" or "great 13" or "michele sent me" when you comment. I get lonely during the week too. It takes me a long time to remember who is who and the way back to their place.

Seriously, I agree with you, especially about making suggestions as to how to make the blog better. I don't worry about anything else but that with my blog. As for your blog, I think it's really awesome. I personally don't think anything needs to be made better. (I know, that doesn't help.)
Lucky you, you've gotten to the search for a publisher phase. Aside from the entertaining rejection letters, how is it going? What's it like to have finished writing a book? I haven't even started on one! I will check your site out.

You DO get lots of comments on Thursday...i am always amazed...I don't always think to visit other days but I try to look back over the week and see if there is anything before Thursday...:-)

Good idea for TT list. I also use word verification for same reasons. I will do your map right after this.
I love comments too, I use a plugin for WordPress for spam, otherwise I would be spending all my time going thru millions of spam comments ;).

I hate word verification but that is because I am really lazy. Frapper scares me. I do like to come visit on other days of the week though. I usually sneak in a few moments while eating with one hand and mousing (surfing) with the other. Too lazy to put down my fork and type though. Hey, I'm being honest. =O) -Margie

i did not find the quiz.
Spam stinks as well as linky abusers... that's ONE reason I stopped using it. I always play well with others, comment when I visit and I try to visit when I can but school has had me swamped the past few weeks. Sigh.
Oh.. and you should add when visiting things like T13, WW, etc. Leave a REAL comment and not just "Great photo!" "great list" etc. hehe that bugs me.
