A New Twist

Just so you know, I always glance through my spam email before deleting it, because as of yet, no ISP has been able to effectively figure out what is spam and what isn't for me.

So I get my shares of Viagra ads (I'm thinking a woman taking that would be BAD) , Refinance Your Home Now! ads, etc. I usually ignore and delete these.

But you've got to give credit for a new approach. I got a spam email today with the subject line: "Since Ancient Times, Men Have Been Trying to Enlarge their Penis" (I'm going to come up in a TON of Google searches now, by golly!)

I do not want to know how men tried to do this in ancient times. I know that women tried to make their neck longer by adding rings, etc. Makes you wonder, huh?

My spam filter is the same. Today I found 3 'spam comments' that were certainly NOT spam.

I don't believe that men were trying to enlarge their penis in ancient times, whatever will they come up with next? hehe. And IF they were, then I'd say they did it by piercing the end and hanging rocks on it LOL

OK, I'm not at all sure how blogs get spammed...I've seen nil in the way of spam comments! But, I'll take your word for it. I'm a blog newbie and hope to stay blissfully unaware of all the details.

Maybe the Egypt pic of the "fertility god" says it all. THAT was ancient times! HAHA. I think you should share that pic to demonstrate the enlargement of ancient times. HEE

LOL!!!!!!!!!!

What they won't think of next!

I thought they were mostly castrated anyway in some societies, so it's a moot point. (Well, I'd read that somewhere, can't remember where. They might have been pulling my leg, no pun there.)

That really is hilarious! I was laughing out loud at work about that one! Thanks for the funny on Friday morning...hopefully it'll help me make it through the rest of my day!

Hummm I was always led to believe that in ancient times sexuality was shunned (you were BAD if you were sexual!)...I think that this was an effort to keep women from being able to compair sizes. If the gal didn't know any better then it didn't matter what size he was.

Gmail is the best, I've yet to find anything that wasn't spam. I think they do an excellent job filtering spam so that I don't have to view it.

I agree with Great Day. I have heard enough stories to think that some guys would try just about anything.

I had one this week that was going to give me a free Navajo blanket. I thought, well, this is going to be from Nigeria, and I get the blanket in exchange for my account information for Prince Whoever's millions... interesting approach. I clicked just to see, and it was a couple sentences about Cialis, and underneath, a random excerpt from some piece of fiction (probably not the spammer's own). None of it had anything to do with anything!
