So there was this episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (every life event can be boiled down to a Buffy episode, just fyi) where there was this girl in Buffy's high school (Sunnydale High) who tried to fit in, but she was ignored by the cool kids, so she became invisible (the high school being situated on the center of mystical energy)
I think this has happened to me. I keep asking friends and family if they can see me, because I'm not sure other people CAN see me. This has been happening a lot lately, but here's a recent example.
I went to an art gallery last weekend in DC, and it's situated in a fairly large space. I would try to situate myself to look at a Degas or a Renoir painting, or try to walk through a doorway, and someone would walk as if they were going to plow right into me, so I'd move. This happened so many times that I decided to hold my ground and not move, just to prove a point, and this man holding his daughter's hand WALKED RIGHT INTO ME! How rude.
Ya'll let me know if my blog picture starts to fade out a-la Back to the Future.
And there's still time for the CASTING CALL over at Wendy's. I'm on a mission to get the audition role this month. :) So if you're here visiting from Wendy's, I've got some snacks for you. I make the best lemon pie, and there's enough to go around. If you're in a munchy mood, I have some Cheetoes and chips and salsa for you. For the dieters amongs us, I've got some banana chips. (they're addictive.)
