It's Friday! Woo Hoo!

There were some questions from yesterday's 13 that I thought I'd answer, before we get into the week's TV stuff.

Yes, I'm really going to Egypt. One month and 1 week to go! Woo hoo! (I'll do a 13 on Egypt when I return). I love to travel. It's one of my passions. I can afford it because I make it a priority. Some people buy shoes, some people play golf, I save to travel. Whenever I get a raise, that extra money (usually not much) goes into the travel account. Though Australia and now Egypt have really drained the funds this year. Also, anyone can come with me! My best friend doesn't always want to go where I do, so if you really want to go with, let me know! Russia, summer 2007! We should do a blogger trip! There will be no sneaking in my suitcase. I have enough trouble fitting what I need in there! :) And I'm not lugging you around the airport. ha ha.

Now, for TV FRIDAY! Don't read if you've haven't caught up on your TiVo for American Idol or Lost or the Amazing Race.

No Lost this week. I think we have another week of reruns next week, and then the last 5 episodes. I hate reruns.

I have ZERO points in my American Idol pool. That's right, zip, nada, nien. Why was Kelli not in the bottom three? Am I watching a different show? And how was Chris next to last? You've got to be kidding, right? American Idol is a scam I say. Though I'm not sorry to see Ace go. He looked kind of gangsta with his hair all pulled back and in a suit. I expected him to say he knew where Hoffa was buried.

And I have only one word for Amazing Race watchers. Whew! My two favorite teams finished in the bottom 2. Thank goodness is was a non-elimination. I think they traveled to the only Middle Eastern country who DOESN'T hate Americans. The tasks are getting a bit ridiculous, I must say. So far, they haven't had to eat any weird food. Anyone want to try out for Amazing Race 10 with me? Qualifications, must speak another language, must be ok to do the eating challenges, and must be ok with my uber-competitiveness. :)

Everyone have a good weekend! I'm going to be working on my next book. Take a look and see how my first book is doing in the hunt for an agent. Encouragement always welcome.

I was just wondering if you wanted to adopt an older sister to take along on your trips! I make a good older sister- I'm bossy, controlling, oh wait, not what you're looking for? okay, I can tour with the best of them- as long as I get to sit back once & a while. and I keep my hotel room nicely picked up!

As far as encouragement is concerned, I been getting lots from a co-worker/friend with whom I've shared my postings. I would encourage you to show your book to someone who would offer words of encouragement. As we know, it's tough enough to write coherently without being discouraged at the same time. I would encourage you to continue.

As far as Russia is concerned, it sounds like a hoot! If, for nothing else than the vodka.
